Dear parents, we continue to support working key worker parents who are out at work during this pandemic. School will be open for vulnerable children and the children of key workers who are unable to find alternative care for their children. This support is available after you have exhausted all available options for childcare. The advice for all is to stay at home, if at all possible, however, if you feel that you are eligible as a key worker, and that you will require this supervision in school, as you have no other option available, please email me one week in advance stating your eligibility as a key worker, and the days you require support, on cmckenna783@c2kni.net . Children who do attend school will stay in family bubbles in our hall and complete the folder of work that has been issued to all children, under the supervision of a member of staff.
Update: I'm sure you have all seen the recent news reports stating that school will resume for children in P1-P3 on 8th March and I can only imagine the disappointment many of you may be feeling. We are very aware that the children are really missing their friends, and the routine and support of school, however, we will continue to do our very best to support the children from P4-P7 in their home learning.
School will now resume on 8th March for P1-P3 and the children of key workers who have no available childcare.
If you feel that you will require this support please email me before Monday 1st March so we can ensure that adequate supervision is available, thank-you.
Thank-you children for the lovely pictures you sent in to school. We are all missing you and are looking forward to when we are able to safely return.
